Ballot work

This week you are expected to go through the ballot. We are going to vote in cooperation with the Secretary of State of Washington, Kim Wyman. You will only be given one paper ballot so be responsible and don't lose it. If you do it is your responsibility to print off another not Reed's.

  1. Open a Google Doc and name it, VOTING 2019
  2. Share the Google Doc with jim.reed@washougalsd.org immediately.
  3. You will be researching Referendum 88, Initiative 976, Advisory votes (20-31), and each candidate position. Click here for an electronic copy of our paper ballot.
  4. List the for each in the Google doc
    1. Pro's
    2. Con's
    3. Justification for why you are voting the way your voting.

  6. You will be getting points for working on this. You will lose points if you are on a webpage that you should not be on or on your phone. If you get caught twice you will have to hand write and research with the paper copy voter pamphlet.

Students, today your Learning Target for the day is to research and buy at least one stock. This is a contest for you to see how the stock markets react to many variables such as government/ politics, natural disasters, global issues, innovation, etc.
